SunTrust Bank Establishes Los Angeles Office for Factoring
SunTrust Bank Receivables Capital Management, formerly known as SunTrust Bank Factoring, has established a factoring office in Los Angeles with the hiring of two factoring professionals, Chris Rogers and Tri Sciarra.
The Los Angeles office will focus specifically on factoring for West Coast industries, according to Mike McCoy, a spokesperson in the Atlanta, Ga. office of SunTrust.
Both of the new Los Angeles executives have financial backgrounds and both have recently held positions at Bank of America Commercial Corp. Rogers, a 16-year factoring-industry veteran, served as senior vice president at Bank of America and will serve as manager of the new office. Sciarra, formerly a portfolio manager at Bank of America, will serve as senior account executive.
SunTrust Bank Receivables Capital Management, a division of SunTrust Bank, was established in 1939. The division, which is headquartered in Atlanta, provides credit protection, receivables management, risk management and financing with offices in Charlotte, N.C., and New York City. —Darryl James
