Fritzi Debuts with Jolt

Los Angeles-based children’s apparel manufacturer Fritzi California will debut Jolt, its new bottoms-driven denim division for girls at January market in New York.

The new jeans division will feature glitter-coatings, Lurex yarn-dye treatments, foil-printed textures, embroidery, appliqueacute;s, beading, studs and rhinestones.

“In the girls market, we are currently seeing a shift in retailers who are open-to-buy toward more fashion-driven jeanswear offerings, thus providing the perfect opportunity for Jolt,” said Jill Schleisman, merchandiser/designer for the division.

The line will retail at moderate price points of $34, $36 and $38, and will be carried at department and specialty stores, as well as juniors catalog retailers.

Plans to further expand the line are in the works, the company announced.
