Jean Louis, the costume designer who created Rita Hayworth’s strapless evening gown in “Gilda” and the sequined dress Marilyn Monroe wore when she sang “Happy Birthday” to President John F. Kennedy, will be inducted into the Costume Designers Guild’s Hall of Fame at the third annual Costume Designers Guild Awards to be held March 17, 2001 in Los Angeles.
