Solstiss/Perrin&Fils Opens L.A. Showroom
French fabric firm Solstiss/Perrin&Fils will open its first West Coast office at the California Mart. John Marshall has been hired as the West Coast sales manager for the company. The showroom will be based in suite B605. The phone number is (213) 688-9797. Solstiss/Perrin&Fils is a New York-based joint venture between two French companies: Solstiss S.A., maker of Leavers laces, and Perrin&Fils, manufacturers of Lyon silk. The U.S. operations are headed by Francoise Damide, U.S. president of the joint venture. The company has had a presence in the West Coast market under the direction of Damide, who has developed a West Coast account base that includes couture and contemporary labels such as Richard Tyler, BCBG and William B.
