L.A. Men's Brand Corpus Lands Ecco Domani Award
The 2009 Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation award for menswear was awarded to Corpus, the Los Angeles–based brand founded by designers Keith Richardson and Jerrod Cornish.
The Fashion Foundation, launched eight years ago by the winemaker to recognize emerging talent, awards each winner a $25,000 grant to help them showcase their brands during New York Fashion Week.
Other winners include Lyn Devon, Matthew Ames, Cushnie et Ochs by Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs, Ohne Titel by Alexa Adams and Flora Gill, Monique Pean, and Bodkin Brooklyn by Evana Hartman and Samantha Pleet.
Previous winners of Fashion Foundation awards include Zac Posen, Derek Lam and Los Angeles–based Rodarte. —Erin Barajas
