TRADE SHOWS | LAS VEGAS - A slow economy did not stop the apparel industry from making the biannual trek to Las Vegas for the MAGIC Marketplace and the growing cohort of satellite shows, but most exhibitors reported continued cautious buying and requests for quick-turn merchandise from buyers shopping the shows.
In addition to its longstanding MAGIC Man, WWDMAGIC, Streetwear at MAGIC, WWDMAGIC at the Hilton, MAGICkids and Sourcing at MAGIC shows at the Las Vegas Convention Center, the giant trade show got a little larger with the addition of two new shows, S.L.A.T.E. and Ecollection. more»
